eBay What you get – · Set of OEM seatback tins – Two (2) pieces, left(driver) and right (passenger). · Set of OEM seat bottom frames – Two(2) pieces,left (driver) and right (passenger). · Set of OEM seat rails – Four(4) pieces, left(driver) and right (passenger). · Set of OEM seat hinges – Four(4) pieces, left(driver) and right (passenger). · Set of OEM seat knobs. Both front/back adjustmentknobs and incline adjustment knobs (shipped loose) – Four(4) pieces. · Set of OEM seat hinge Hex bolts with starwashers – Eight(8) pieces. · Set of OEM seat hinge philips head bolts withstar washers – Eight(8) pieces. · Set of OEM seat rail to seat frame philips boltswith lock washers and non-OEM flat washers – Twenty-four(24) pieces. · Set of OEM seat hinge plastic covers – Four(4)pieces, left (driver) and right (passenger). · Incomplete set of OEM small screws to screwplastic hinge covers to the hinges – Four(4) pieces. · Set of new non-OEM vinyl hinge to seatprotectors – 2 sets – Four(4) pieces (only two pieces shown in pictures). · Single OEM head rest foam – One(1) piece. · New synthetic blue horsehair to line seat bottom– non-OEM – enough square footage for both seats. · 1/8” Stainless Steel rods, 10” – Four(4) pieces. Seatback tins –media blasted and powder coated gloss black. Tins have all the seat skin tangs. Tins havesome pitting, and one tin had some blast media fall into the powder coatingduring cure. Won’t be seen, but wantedto point it out. The driver’s side tinis different from the passenger’s side. All the seat components in this listing came from the same car (1978280Z) except where noted otherwise. Theoriginal head rest foam is included if the tin is to remain as is. It may seem unnecessary to powder coat thesepieces as they’ll never be seen in the finished seat, but the idea waslongevity. Seat bottom frames- media blasted and powder coated gloss black. These frames are in great shape with some minor pitting. All the springs and spring clips are inplace. Seat cover attachment point rods are missing as they were too badlyrusted. Four new stainless steel rodsare included. Seat rails – mediablasted and powder coated gloss black. Therails were completely disassembled and freshly greased. The rollers were in great shape and cleanedand polished. New side bearingsinstalled. The ride surface of therollers were masked from powder coating, and cleaned for smooth railoperation. Original rubber on theadjustable rail was cleaned, treated and reused. Seat Hinges – mediablasted and powder coated gloss black and chrome. The hinges were completely disassembled andfreshly greased. All the originalcomponents were cleaned and polished where necessary. New stainless steel castle nuts and cotterpins installed. New vinyl tubing coversfor the incline adjustment springs to match the originals. Driver side (left) incline adjustment hingehas one gear tooth missing from a previous owner (see close up picture). Seat knobs –the OEM plastic knobs are included, and un-restored. They’ve not been glued back in place just incase the new owner wanted to replace them with an after market knob. Seat hinge Hexbolts – heads and original star washers were media blasted and powdercoated gloss black. Star washers arefixed on the bolts just below the heads . They’ll snug up once bolted in place. Seat hinge philipsbolts – heads and original star washers were media blasted and powdercoated gloss black. Star washers arefixed on the bolts just below the heads . They’ll snug up once bolted in place. Seat rail to seatframe bolts – original bolts and lock washers. Bolt heads were cleaned and polished. New flat washers are included. Seat hinge plasticcovers – OEM plastics, but from different cars. Cleaned and refinished in SEM Landau Black. Small plasticcovers to seat hinge screws – a complete set would be 6, but there are only4 included. They’ve been cleaned and theheads painted black. Clear vinyl protectors– these go between the hinges and seats. These are new, non-OEM pieces cut using the originals as a template. Allnecessary holes are punched. Only oneset is shown in the pictures, but two sets will be included in the purchase. Driver side headrest foam – The driver’s side seat tin is different from the passengerside, and this original foam is included in case the new owner wants to use itwhen installing the final seat skins/foams. Synthetic horsehair (blue) – I used this on my seat restoration, and despite the fact you’llnever see it, I liked the look. Thereshould be enough square footage to cover the seat frames. See picture of my seat installation for referenceonly. Stainless SteelRods – I’ve included four of these rods in case the new owner wants to usethem as an attachment point for the new seat skins.
