If you think you’re seeing something not mentioned in this listing, please ask!!Here’s The Run Down:This is a Very Clean & Not Easily Found Vintage 1978 Greco EX800 that sounds, looks and plays amazing! This guitar was played some, but still in great condition overall for a 47 year old pre owned vintage guitar. There will be minor flaws from play and age as pictured (see pics). These flaws may consist of minor scratches, average play wear, scuffs, a few dings and chips, but nothing significant that you cant see in the pics. The hardware is still in great shape showing minor discoloring. The fret wear is minimal and pictured for your review. There is light buckle rash on the back. I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). I’ve heard that some of these guitar bodies would slightly warp on the long side of the lower bout. This one is completely flat and is also pictured on a flat table with the heel strap button removed (see pics). There are NO repairs or changes to note and all electronics are original, repair free and operate perfectly. If your looking for a super cool Japanese Made « Clone » this is one you don’t see everyday and would make a great addition to your collection!A Little Info From The Web:Late 70’s Cheap Trick was huge in Japan. The 1978 release of « Live at Budokan » only made them more popular. And of course Rick Nielsen was playing his early Hamer Standard. Hamer was relatively small at the time. Fujijen, the top guitar factory in Japan started making « Hamer clones » for Greco and Aria. I’ve heard they even used that » Hamer clone » phrase in a couple ads. These are amazing guitars and the closest you’re gonna get to a 4 digit Hamer Standard without spending the moon. Fujijen is still one of the Premier guitar factories in Japan building the high end Ibanez guitars and the new Schecter California Classics.This 1978 Greco EX800 sounds and plays beautifully! Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The neck is straight with low action and the truss rod operates as it should. All electronics are original and operate perfectly!The Included Case fits the guitar properly and will be included with this sale.Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above.Make sure you view all of the pics and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying.I will ship this item over seas, but you must contact me for a shipping quote before buying.
