Up for sale is a Brand New 21 piece set of… Full Custom Titanium Parts Set Anodized in GREEN to fit Benchmade Osborne 940-1 & 940-2 Knives. This set won’t fit the aluminum scaled non-standoff 940 or 943 version. Contact me if you want this color on the 940 or 943 set. The Black factory standard torx screws are not titanium. The Black factory screws also do not fit properly as they are too long and stick out past the scales into the blade area. My custom designed GREEN Anodized Titanium screws fit perfectly and do not protrude past the scales into the blade area. Upgrade the standard torx screws to an 21 Piece set of ANODIZED GREEN Rust Proof Titanium Torx Screws. Not only do they look great but they are also lighter and fit better than the black factory torx screws. These Custom Titanium Parts are a direct replacement for the Benchmade 940-1 and 940-2 Knives. I have almost perfected it and I will try my best to keep the color as consistent as possible within any set purchased as many things affect it. Like ambient temperature, age of chemical mix, length of time anodizing, voltage, pre-cleaning procedure, voltage contact etc. (I am often re-doing it a few times to get it right, or wasting parts or throwing away parts in the process, it can easily take around 2 hours per set to get right) Green is also very hard to capture on a photograph as it’s true color may look different under different lighting conditions or on different angles. or even on different screens when being viewed. The green anodizing color is around the Pantone 339 Green color. Please take this a general color range only. As in real life it looks brighter due to titanium’s metallic surface reflecting through the color This color is also NOT guaranteed to match any stock Benchmade aluminum scales or standoffs. Additional Titanium 940-1 parts: If wanting the Full Parts Set (screw set / standoffs / pivot set / axis lock bar / thumb stud set) it is best to order ALL the 940-1 parts at the same time. So it will be in the same anodizing batch and match much better than if ordered at a later date. * By placing an order for this GREEN part you are accepting there could be a variation in color to what is pictured. To install these Titanium Torx screws set, good quality Torx tools will be needed. (Such as Wiha Torx tools) Please note: A bit of non-permanent thread locking glue, plumbers tape or even a drop of nail polish is highly recommended on the screw’s thread. Just incase it rattles off over time, as an extra safety precaution. Once you have received a colored titanium product. It may appear to have lost color once touched, this is only just the oil from your hands. If the oil has been cleaned off the color will come back.
