This is the lot on eBay we offer: A really old – we’re told these are from the early 1960’s – FRENCH EUROPEAN LARGE SIZED – each measures 6 1/4 inches wide and holds a half dozen snails OLDER FRENCH EUROPEAN ESCARGOT PAN SET of 2 with Individual tongs too – back when my mother thought she was an aspiring Julia Child, she bought these matching pans in a Parisian store (circa 1960s). We are selling them together with tongs for reasonable price, compare to Williams-Sonoma prices for these now. Great condition. QUITE old and simply sold as a decorative items that can be used if you desire – tin lining seems pretty good, the pans have much character, but were only used to hang in my parent’s kitchen for past 50+ years. More used as decorative antiques in the past.. Note patina etc. all intact. Each of these is a really special old pan for someone who cherishes this sort of thing.
