This listing is for a new PLA 3D-printed adapter to secure a Hasselblad chimney finder/magnifying hood on late model Rolleiflex TLR cameras with interchangeable finders like the 2.8F, 3.5F, 2.8GX/FX, T and the Rolleicord VB. It will fit an early and later model Hasselblad chimney finders like shown in the pictures. I find the Rolleiflex with a chimney finder handles very comfortably and this is an affordable way of using the readily-available Hasselblad chimneys as the original Rolleiflex TLR chimneys are very rare. Note this adapter was redesigned with thicker, denser walls and bigger M2 locking screw to also accommodate the heavier Hasselblad PM style (see last picture), NC2 and Kiev prism finders. The adapter keeps the prism directly on top of the focusing screen frame to avoid any focus issues with prisms that don’t have adjustable diopters. Due to its wraparound design, the prism mounting plate will first have to be removed before slipping the adapter through and then reattached. On some prisms there are tiny detent balls in addition to the screws, some care is needed when doing this. You’d probably want to dedicate the prism to Rolleiflex use so you’d only have to do this once. The prism is held snug on top of the camera, just ensure that the side locking tabs click firmly when mounting and with reasonable handling will not inadvertently detach.
