This is a Kueffel & Esser K & E N4080-3 Log Log Duplex Trig Slide Rule The window slides freely with little play.The sliding scale moves with a little resistance. Probably just needs to be used more or lubricated with idk, whatever you lubricate slide rules with, maybe some Acme slide rule lubricant or something lol. It comes with a leather case and the original manual.There’s some writing on the flap of the leather case. Gives it character and, you know, history, context. Street cred. This slide rule’s been around. It’s solved problems. It’s also stumped it’s users a few times. Its a street slide rule. Maybe even been in a gang. But it’s older now, ready to take it easy and live its best life, a quieter life. Thanks to Texas Instruments, Radio Shack, and others, it can now retire or semi retire from active duty. Maybe be part of a collection, a community, a community of slide rules. No more late night math and physics emergencies. Please be sure to look at all the pictures carefully before buying.
