For sale is a beautiful Omega Constellation, reference 191.0010, powered by the reliable cal. 1330 quartz. A very classy, purely dress watch for the ladies, featuring a light silver dial with very thin applied indices and baton hands, a thin round case at only 7mm, and an integrated mesh bracelet. A vintage watch that’s also a statement piece, but at the same time it doesn’t break the bank. To the naked eye they’re hardly even noticeable. Applied indices and hands are very clean. Mineral glass is free of scratches. Case has light scratches and minor dings from use. The most noticeable being at the edge of the bezel, right at the 2 o’clock marker. The brushed finish is intact all around, so the watch hasn’t been polished. Generally, it presents very decent. Bracelet would really use an ultrasonic cleaning by a watchmaker or jeweler. I tried cleaning it to the best of my abilities, but these tight mesh bracelets are hard to clean. It has scratches and marks all around from normal use. It measures 15.7cm (6.2″) from lug to lug, and it should fit a wrist circumference of 17-17.5cm (6.7-6.9″). This is a non adjustable bracelet and if you’ll need to shorten it, you’ll have to send it to a watchmaker or jeweler to cut it to length. Movement looks fairly clean and keeps good time. The hour can be set via the crown and it moves smoothly. The minutes are set by pressing and holding the push button within the crown, and that also works smoothly. Movement Service The movement’s service history is unknown and I haven’t personally sent it for a service. The battery hasn’t been changed while in my possession. Although it runs well, keep in mind you’re buying a vintage watch. If you care for it to function properly in the future, a service will be needed. Waterproof The watch has no water proof rating, but I imagine it’s 30m (3 ATM), and that means at most you can wash your hands while wearing it or use it under rain. In no circumstances should it be used under the shower or for swimming. The watch should be tested by a watchmaker and any gaskets replaced to make sure its water resistance is in spec.
