Only thing that could knock this review is if they just burn batteries because those obviously aren’t cheap. But I have a Ring spotlight camera in the middle of my house that is just ‘ok’ for lighting in the front. I added two of these, 1 on each side of my house to face the front and help add lighting and it’s better than I expected especially at that price. I angled both(they provide a good bit of flexibility for angles) towards the front of my house where I park, and the motion reaches the sidewalk which I was worried about.Best thing is they are so bright I think it’ll start to defer from people even walking around my house at night. I bought another pair for the back, if they burn batteries at a high rate I’ll have to balance that, but if they aren’t being used until night I should be ok as there isn’t a ton of activity at night, where as the Ring camera battery is burning up on motion all day long. For the price point I don’t see how you can get a better set of motion lights, quality was good and install for both took 5 minutes.They are really sensitive, which could be good and bad. Also, the casing is not as easy to snap in and out so replacing the batteries will take an extra 30 seconds or so. But that said, look at the price! You can get TWO of these for the price of ONE Mr. Beams 400 lumen light. I placed both of these in an easier location for me to reach (from the top rail of my deck) so even with the extra time popping the casing in and out, it’s not that big a deal. Now the question becomes, how well will they hold up? My Mr. Beams have weathers a tough winter and a hot summer and done so without any problems…if these do the same, they will be welcome « fillers » into those dark spots where you want a bit extra light automatically.
