eBay PLASTO MFG. Co. Lamp Vintage 1950s Atomic Mid Century Modern. This is one of those items after I test it and take photos and really look at it, I start to want to keep it. So now I have it on display in my 50s bathroom until it sells. This lamp epitomises Mid Century Modern. I thought about repainting it but decided to let the knew owner either use it original like it is, or repaint it. I did an exhaustive google and ebay search for another Plasto lamp that looks like this one and couldn’t find even one other. The colored ovals are painted Light blue, Gold and Dark blue. The condition is working as it should. The plaster has chips and scratches in it that you can see in the photos. I imagine that it had a piece of felt glued to the bottom originally that is not there now. The metal lamp parts have surface rust on them. If you have any questions please contact me before buying to make sure its what you want and I do not offer returns. As with all vintage items, some wear or manufacturing defects may be present. Please remember that these listings are for previously loved and used items… that is part of their charm! It does not come with the shade or light bulb. I only put it on for the photos for you to imagine how good it looks. It is 28″ tall with the halo, 19″ tall from the base to the top of the plaster body and 6″ wide at the base.
