Gorgeous on its own, especially if you ombre the pattern, but works well as a blender for other series. Appropriate for any age. Jelly rolls are wonderful for making lasagna quilts, strip quilts, log cabin quilts, and a number of other patterns. They are easily cut down into 2.5″ squares to create nine patch blocks as well, or simply to do a scrappy quilt if you have strips from other pinwheels or leftover from previous projects. I make lap quilts for cancer patients (all ages) and Alzheimer’s patients and have pieced several lap quilt tops using this particular jelly roll.
