Thank you! Here is a handmade wooden Ouija board set affectionately crafted in the spirit of the William Fuld talking boards that were popular in the early 20th Century. The boards are crafted completely by hand via a special process based on the original Fuld manufacturing methods. They measure approximately 18 in. x 12 in. x 1/4 in. The boards and planchettes are stained and clear coated in matte to give them a nice vintage look. Each planchette is equipped with three felt-padded « feet » for easy gliding across the board’s surface. These sets are inspired by a 1912 William Fuld Ouija board from my personal collection. This is the most accurate replica on the market. If you want the vibe of an antique Fuld Ouija, but don’t want any particular spiritual baggage that may come with a century-old board, this set is right for you. Unlike the other boards in my shop, these sets are distressed, giving them a uniquely antique look. Each board set is hand made, and no two are alike, so there will be differences in color and shade from the example photo in the listing due to how each different piece of wood absorbs the pigment. Some can turn out lighter, some can turn out darker. If you perfer a lighter or darker shade, please note your preference at checkout. This board is also based on a prop I created for the new supernatural comedy, « GHOST TEAM », featuring Jon Heder of « Napoleon Dynamite » fame and legendary comedienne, actress, and author, Amy Sedaris. I also created a similar prop set for the horror short « Playtime Never Stops », which can also be viewed on YouTube. My work has also been contracted by the Travel Channel for their hit show, GHOST ADVENTURES. Each board is hand-cut, hand-sanded, hand-painted, hand-stained, and hand-finished. No CNC machines, no laser cutting, and no decals! 100% handmade, just like the originals. This is the true Ouija experience.
